Fellowship In Medicine
A fellowship in medicine is a scientific and practical training program for human physicians and dentists. This program usually begins after the doctor completes the specialty (residency) program. During this training period (which is usually more than one year) the physician is called a “fellow physician” and is able to perform the role of a treating physician or a consultant physician in the specialist field for which he is trained, such as internal medicine or pediatrics. After completing the fellowship in the relevant subspecialties, the doctor is allowed to practice work without direct supervision by other doctors, and the doctor obtains a professional certificate that qualifies him to be a specialist at a high level
